I found a new fabric website that I really like! Also there is a blog that has a contest to win a bundle of fat quarters from them, and I’m totally in love with all the fabric choices in that bundle. I may have to buy some if I don’t win, lol.
March project – storage/Easter basket March 2, 2009
I can’t decide between these two projects for my March project… Car Litter Bag or the Fabric Basket. I think I’ll end up making both of them trying to use up some of my fabric scraps. I wanted a project that I had supplies already for so these are the two that I think I’ll make. I also think the basket would make a great Easter basket for Moriah so if I do make it that’s what I’ll initially use it for.
One of the things I want when we finally buy a house is a master bedroom that is not a bunch of stuff thrown into it. So, I found some fabric that I LOVE LOVE LOVE! I decided for my February project since I only had one day left in February to finish it since January’s project took longer than expected…
the background is the quilt for the master bedroom.
very cute reversible apron pattern… it was mostly easy, there was one step that was a bit frustrating getting the angle right on the apron straps but the pattern warns you so I knew it was coming…
trying to get back into the swing of things January 13, 2009
I made another hat for Isaac, just haven’t taken a picture of it yet. I also decided to make a really cute apron and doing a sew-along with some friends and just got the fabric in the mail today and decided to wash up all the fabric that I have. I washed 12 yards today on this 12th day of the year, which I found rather fitting for being my 12th picture on my 365 photo blog. Here’s the pic. The bottom/right 3 fabrics will be the fabrics for the reversible apron. I have the pattern cut out now I just need for Isaac to give me some time to iron the fabric and cut the pieces out for it so that I can pull out my sewing machine while we are snowed in because of a blizzard tomorrow and finish it up. I would really like to do one project a month, that’s my goal for this year.
a bit behind, with good reason January 7, 2009
so since having Isaac I haven’t really had the time or energy to work on any projects but now feeling like I’m ready to get back to doing some projects. I just ordered a really cute apron pattern and some fabric that I’ve always loved and am hoping to finish it by the end of January. My goal for this year is to do at least one project a month.
Here are some past projects that I never downloaded pics of
Isaac’s already grown out of the hat, so I had to make another one that I just finished.
